Cubic Telecom, the Irish founded leader in the global automotive technology market is delighted to announce the launch of their 2024 Summer Intern Programme.In 2023 we hired 8 wonderful interns who added great value to our teams. Following the success of this programme we have decided to hire a further six interns this summer.The launch of this programme coincides with our tremendous growth and signals our commitment to invest and grow the next generation of globally focused tech innovators, network engineers, and business professionals in Ireland.Why Cubic Telecom?Cubic Telecom is one of the fastest growing Irish software companies. We recruited over 100 employees globally in 2022 and we now have a global team of over 300!This summer we have six exciting paid internship opportunities for students based in Ireland.The successful candidates will join us full time for eight weeks between June 10th and August 3rd.These internships will give any student who is interested in a career working in the tech industry, invaluable hands-on experience in a fun, diverse and fast-paced start up environment working with cutting edge, best-in-class IoT technology.The Teams:Service DeliveryOur Service Delivery Team is the main point of interaction with our customers during the live phase. We help our customers with their support requests (technical and non-technical) through tickets raised to the various teams and manage the actions to resolve issues and provide high level of service and customer satisfaction. The team is also in charge of managing the relationship with our partners for all ITIL processes on a day-to-day basis such as Incident, Problem and Change Management.In this internship you will support projects that improve our customer experience and drive growth for Cubic Telecom.MNO and Partnership InternshipIn MNO partnerships team (Wholesale) we focus on building strong relationships with our partners across the telecom industry – mobile operator networks and vendors - to develop Cubic’s global connectivity proposition.
This role will get a good context of how mobile connectivity solutions and the Internet of Things (IoT) come together.In this role you will be supporting the team within Wholesale that analyses the partnerships and various criteria – commercial and technical parameters.Responsibilities:

Data management: analysing MNO partners data consistency, creating reports
Workflow mapping - audit of the existing workflows, building up the new processes
Analysing the connectivity footprint solutions - countries and MNO partners - to develop visual for Cubic’s global connectivity coverage
Working with the CRM tool

Product InnovationThe Innovation group is a part of the product organization. We're responsible for researching and rapid testing horizon 2 and 3 innovation ideas. The Innovation Intern will primarily work on market research and business case development, with opportunities to support ideas in rapid testing and MVP development phases as well.LegalOur Legal Team is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory matters across all the regions in which Cubic operate and managing the contractual process for our commercial workstreams.You will have to opportunity to assist the legal department with contract administration, regulatory research and legal reviews - typical tasks during a summer internship include research on telecoms compliance, data protection obligations in international markets, reviewing supplier contracts and service level agreements.MarketingGet your career started within a growing and innovative marketing team. At Cubic we are offering an exciting internship where you will get the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of marketing disciplines including digital, events and PR. In this role, you will work closely with the digital marketing team to manage the Customer Relationship Management software, as well as being a key stakeholder in driving social media strategy for the brand.The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on the Public Relations and events programme, gaining hands on experience of implementing global initiatives that have real impact.DevOpsWe are seeking a dynamic and proactive DevOps Intern to join our innovative DevOps team. As an ideal candidate, you are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technology field and have a passion for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals and contribute to the creation of scalable software solutions and the optimization of our development pipeline.This hands-on role will allow you to gain valuable experience in continuous integration, deployment automation, and cloud-based infrastructure management, setting a solid foundation for your futureRequirementsWho are we looking for?

We are looking for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are studying in the Republic of Ireland.
We are chiefly looking for students studying technology or business; however, any 3rd level discipline will be considered depending on the role for which you apply.
You should be eligible to work full time in the Republic of Ireland.
You should be on your way to earning a 2H1 in your degree.
Most importantly we are looking for candidates who are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
