Job DescriptionA fantastic opportunity has arisen for two Senior Supply Chain Management Specialists at our site in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.Bring energy, knowledge, innovatiofn to carry out the following:
  • Continuously Improve the Material Management Process on site
  • Ensure purchase orders are placed in line with lead times and agreed SLAs with site customers
  • Work closely with the Material Availability Team to communicate the material ordering plan
  • Build an excellent relationship with suppliers of assigned categories to order to ensure value is created and delivered for the site
  • Track and challenge assigned supplier safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics
  • Minimizing obsolescence with the site Production Schedulers who allocate direct material to the Process Orders
  • Ensure material planning processes meet schedule need as well as balancing safety first, quality always and cost
  • Network with above site ERP subject matter experts to build expertise in oneself and others
  • SAP Superuser and work with local and global ERP process stewards to build capability
  • Coaching and mentoring of Supply Chain Planners
  • SAP Planning Steward
  • Lead complex Quality Investigations and support as technical SME in both Quality audits as well as other Site Compliance initiatives (e.g. Safety audits)
  • Lead agreed initiatives to improve Site performance and compliance posture
  • Own the site’s Inventory Governance process
  • Manage capacity review (both short-term & long-term) in support of Profit Plan
  • Engage with above Site Teams – Value-Chain & Demand Management – for both current product portfolio and new product introductions
What skills you will need:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, pharmacy or science related field
  • 3 to 5 years previous experience within Quality operations/ Compliance or supporting Supply Chain or Operations role within a Pharmaceutical Company, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal – ability to work within all levels of the organisation from shopfloor staff to Site Leadership Team.
  • Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and priority management skills
  • Ability and willingness to keep learning.
  • A team player, who can work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sense of initiative and overall coordination of projects and activities
