We make life better for hundreds of thousands of fellow Amazonians.The A to Z Manager Experiences team owns surfacing manager experiences and journeys to Amazonians from a single unified platform through federated development. As part of the team, you will focus on the technical design, development, delivery and operational excellence of this area. You will also work on the long term strategy of onboarding new journeys into the system.Choose to join us and you will own the design of major features from end-to-end in web apps to dependent services and persistent storage. We're looking for a new teammate who is enthusiastic, empathetic, curious, motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively with a diverse team of peers; someone who will help us amplify the positive & inclusive team culture we've been building.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Dublin, D, IRLBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellenceAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
