You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.
You will support delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of Project Managers and senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.Integrity – Always do the right thing:

You will develop effective relationships with design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
You will actively network and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.
You will manage parts of projects independently, with oversight from other Project Managers.You'll be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day administrative activities billing, project set up.
- Contributing to regular reviews of schedule and cost, supporting change, risk and issues management.
- Assisting the project/programme team with the end-to-end delivery of the required outcomes and outputs, across the areas of design, procurement, construction delivery, budget, schedule and technical quality output.
- Enhance the ROL (Road opening licences) Guidance and associated templates.
- Develop and implement a UE/IDD process for Temporary Road Closures.
- Develop a LA Roads Knowledge base, becoming experts in ROL conditions and negotiations.
- Develop and implement a ROL Sustainability Strategy (reusable materials pilot trials).
- Manage ROL queries and escalations effectively.
- Provide ROL training (ROL systems) to PM’s and Contractors.
- Collate and shape data (excel, word etc.)
- Engage the wider business or external stakeholder effectively
- Demonstrable experience of Portfolio and/or Programme management and delivery of large programmes/projects
- Relevant third-level qualification and or accreditation in Project Management or Construction
- Experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable
- Demonstrated people management ability, proactive development, motivation and engagement of staff
- Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions
- Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements
- Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job.
- Experience in developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
