- Greet guests in a professional and warm manner.
- Serves guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Food & Drink service standards
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items and is able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
- Upsell products within the department/rest of hotel.
- Ensure all duties are carried out as per standard operating procedures to include but not limited to: Micros, end of shift procedures and handling of cash.
- To comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
- Perform tasks in accordance to supervisors and management expectations.
- Be available to work on a permanent basis therefore may not be suitable for summer applicants or students.
- Be able to work on their own initiative while also possessing skills in a team environment.
- Have high attention to detail.
- Fluent in the English language and have excellent communication skills.
- Be available to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends, morning and evening shifts.
- Previous experience in a similar position
