Job Title: Maintenance Electrician - Offaly - Permanent!Job Summary: CREGG are looking for a Maintenance Electrician for a food manufacturing facility in Offaly. The maintenance electrician will maintain machinery and equipment within the food manufacturing facility, carry out preventative maintenance on machinery and provide general maintenance services to a very busy manufacturing facility and it's offices.The ideal candidate will have experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. The role will involve a shift rotation (day and evening shift), some evening work will also be involved.Responsibilities:

Maintain manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery.
Repair machine or equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
Ensure new workplace equipment is appropriately and safely installed for usage.
Ensure relevant individuals are informed of maintenance issues or breakdowns which may affect the production process.
Work as part of a team to ensure suitable maintenance support is provided to all shifts and areas of the business.
Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce machine downtime.
Provide general maintenance support throughout the factory and offices.

Qualifications:

Qualified electrician with mechanical experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good computer skills are essential for this role.
Experience with BRC and HACCP standards is desirable.
