We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and highly creative Culture & Development Manager who thrives in and appreciates a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment to join our DEI, Culture & Development team.Reporting to the VP of DEI, Culture & Development, this person will manage a global team of three direct reports, with oversight for important functions such as training and development, new hire orientation, employee recognition, engagement surveys, wellness, community programming, corporate social responsibility, company-wide and local event planning, and more! WP Engine understands that our business thrives when our employees thrive, and it begins with hiring the right Culture & Development Manager.This position is based in Limerick, Ireland or at a suitable distance to be routinely in the office (1-2 days per week, or occasionally more based on events)The Day to Day
This is very much a hands-on role with both administrative and strategic responsibilities, requiring you to manage across global time zones and execute multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. The ability to multitask and take an idea from concept to execution is key!As a member of the DEI, Culture and Development team you will:Manage and support a dynamic global team of three direct reports including two Community Partners and a Learning AdministratorContribute to and develop strategy for New Employee Orientation (NEO), wellness, employee engagement, recognition, community programming, and opportunities to give back to local communities while working collaboratively to continually evolve our offerings with the best interest of our employees in mind.Consults with local business leaders to understand their perspective of learning and development needs and what gaps need to be addressedDesign, develop, and deliver relevant, high-impact, interactive learning solutions that support the development of our employees and ensures learner participation, comprehension, and applicationMonitor and evaluate training and continuously improve content over time to ensure optimal learning outcomes and increased performanceLead our company-wide annual Great Place To Work engagement survey submission process, analyzing data and identifying themes for actionable next steps to improve the experience of our employees.Lead and set agenda for global monthly site leaders meeting. Partner with site leaders, local councils, and other integral stakeholders to plan, celebrate, and support regional and company-wide events and town halls, etc., while maintaining budgetary oversight.Vendor management and onboarding of new and existing vendor partners that support L&D and employee wellbeing.Support Employee Experience cross functional initiatives and other duties as assignedYour Experience, Expertise and Passion
Minimum qualifications include:5+ years of related management and L&D experienceProficient in curriculum design, ability to design and build programs from strategy to final productDemonstrates subject matter expertise and presence by facilitating in a style appropriate for the audience and the session topicStrong ethics and cultural awareness.
