Assist the client with Activities of Living
Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client
Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care Policies

Qualifications & ExperienceCare Assistants must have obtained full QQI Level 5 or we will also consider the following:

Care Assistants that have obtained QQI approved Level 5 Modules Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support.
Or have a minimum of one-year experience caring for others and be in a position to undertake the two modules outlined above.
Full Driver's License is essential

Free Patient Moving & Handling Training
We provide free training for care workers' who need to attain the two QQI Level 5 modules - Care Of The Elderly and Care Skills;

For qualified applicants with full QQI and 2 years Experience -€15.50 Monday through to Saturday and €17.75 on Sundays.Half hour rates are €9.25 Monday to Saturday and €10.25 on Sundays.Travel is compensated by the company and it is paid when you travel from one customer to the next and the gap between calls is less than 4 hoursIf you do not have full Healthcare QQI but have Care Skills and Care Of the Elderly: -€14.50 per hour Monday through to Saturday and €16.75 on Sundays.Half hour rates are €9.00 Monday to Saturday and €10.00 on Sundays.Travel is compensated by the company and it is paid when you travel from one customer to the next and the gap between calls is less than 4 hoursIf you do not have any Healthcare QQI, we can provide free training in QQI Care Skills and Care Of The Elderly, there is an interim rate while you achieve these as follows: -€13.50 per hour Monday through to Saturday and €15.75 per hour on Sundays.Half hour rates are €8.75 Monday to Saturday and €9.75 Euro on Sundays.Travel is compensated by the company and it is paid when you travel from one customer to the next and the gap between calls is less than 4 hoursJOB TYPES: Full-time & Part-time - Permanent€15.50 - €17.75 per hour
