This is however only a part of the innovation need.An exciting position has arisen to support the service and sales of the Medtronic Spinal portfolio that includes spinal navigation, imaging, and robotics as a Senior Technical Consultant.A Day in the Life
- Provides clinical and technical support to the clinical team in theatres for spine cases.
- Holds responsibility for for territory case coverage and support of intraoperative sales.
- Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
- Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.
- Participates in and supports regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.
- Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
- Identifies ways to impact at scale and deliver outcomes with the highest standard of patient safety, quality, and ethics.
- Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
- Degree in Engineering (Consider New Engineering Graduates), Radiography, Life-science, Business or Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree
- Experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operating room environment
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, travel and weekend support are required
- Keen interest in Technology
- Spinal/Orthopedic or Cranial Knowledge desirable
- Previous training/education experience
