Designed with nature at its very core, each environment will feature an inherent luxury, understated elegance, design sensibility and complete exclusivity, guests will be able to choose from our River Suites and Woodland Suites.
We are now looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our Management team at The Montenotte.Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement People Management strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, queries and grievances or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of human resources.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and company culture through a comprehensive Team Engagement and Communication strategy in line with the Hotel’s Employer Brand strategy, mission, vision, and Core Values.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess learning and development needs to apply and monitor Learning & Development programs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs relevant to the needs of the business and the people development and culture strategy, embracing diversity and empowerment.
  • Report to General Manager and provide decision support through HR metrics monthly.
  • Lead Hotel legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Coach, support, mentor, and challenge line managers and HODs in the application of HR policies and practices, provide advice and guidance on HR issues.
  • Responsibility for HR & Training departmental budget and therefore attendance and participation required at regular management & finance meetings.
  • Manage all employee change procedures in line with company policies.
  • To ensure employee absenteeism is monitored and reported on a monthly basis and any issues dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
  • Coordinate the Employee Consultation & Information committee and consult with department representatives on all relevant issues.
  • Input, maintain and validate employee records on the hotel integrated HR & Payroll systems ensuring payroll submission is accurate.
  • Ensure all parts of the HR department are legally compliant with Employment Law.
