- Minimum of diploma or equivalent in a Health & Safety related qualification.
- Prior experience with a Tier 1 contractor or experience working on large multi-disciplinary sites preferred.
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent organisational, motivational, and communication skills are essential.
- Ideally, the candidate would have trainer the trainer certification.
- Oversee the risk assessment program, tailoring it to working environments across the sites.
- Maintain, review, and update the site's risk registers.
- Establish and report on key performance indicators related to safety awareness and issues.
- Conduct presentations and training on health & safety topics and accident prevention.
- Implement comprehensive health & safety plans in alignment with legal regulations/industry best practices.
- Mentor site teams to champion the company's engineering's proactive, safety-oriented culture.
