The main responsibilities are: quality assurance and compliance, resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.Specified Purpose Contract– Residential and Respite Coordinator --39 hours Per Week –Qualification:Eligibility CriteriaQualifications and/ or experience:
Each candidate must, at the latest date for receipt of completed applications for the post have the following
A minimum ordinary Degree (QQI Level 7) in Nursing/Applied Social Studies/ Social Care/ other qualifications may also be considered
Have at least 5 years post qualification experience in a similar setting (preferably in the intellectual disability sector), at least 3 of which must be at a Management/ Supervisor level.
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level with at least degree level attained in education.
Have an appropriate Health/Social Care Management Qualification at a minimum of QQI Level 6
