Occupational Therapist - Mental health service - DublinCpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client, a leading provider of services to patients with a range of mental health conditions are recruiting for a staff grade Occupational Therapist for a permanent position.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured team providing an occupational therapy service to patients with a range of mental health conditions including neuropsychiatric presentations, enduring mental health conditions, dementia, and emerging physical disabilities through a specialist rehabilitation unit and residential treatment centreWorking alongside OT colleagues and a wider multidisciplinary team, the main duties and responsibilities will include:· Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment/intervention programmes for clients according to professional standards.· Collaboration with resident, family, carers and other staff in goal setting and treatment/intervention planning.· Participate in the multi-disciplinary/healthcare team and work in co-operation and collaboration with team members.· Manage, participate and play a key role in the practice education of student therapists and promote and engage in the teaching/training/support of others as appropriateThe successful candidates will meet the following requirements:· Hold a recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapists and registration with CORU or eligible for same.· Ideally some relevant post qualification clinical experience in a mental health / psychiatric setting, relevant placement experience will be considered.· Excellent planning and organisation skillsFor more information, please email your CV to or call Brian 01 482 5421 / 087 222 6752
