Key Responsibilities: * Customer Service: * Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service. * Answer customer inquiries and offer assistance as needed. * Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Stock Management: * Receive, sort, and price donated items. * Create visually appealing displays. * Maintain a tidy and organized shop floor. Visual Merchandising: * Assist in creating visually appealing window displays and in-store promotions. * Ensure the shop's overall presentation is inviting and professional. Fundraising: * Promote fundraising initiatives, such as charity events and appeals. * Encourage donations and explain how they benefit the charity. Administrative Tasks: * Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping. * Handle cash and till operations. Ideal Candidate: * Excellent Customer Service Skills: Friendly and outgoing personality. * Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. * Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential. * Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers. * Passion for Charity Work: Genuine interest in supporting a good cause.
