- System Development and Design: Spearhead the creation of innovative single-use systems, meticulously developing detailed product specifications and designs aligned with user requirements, production capabilities, and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively engage with internal teams, including Quality, Operations, Engineering, Production, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure developed solutions resonate with customer needs and adhere to the regulatory framework.
- Component Management: Oversee a comprehensive library of single-use components, conducting thorough evaluations to ensure their suitability and performance, while collaborating with Quality, Planning, and Procurement teams to guarantee a consistent supply.
- Production Support: Champion the accurate manufacture of designs, ensuring they meet approved specifications. Offer continuous improvement strategies for MES/ERP systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics.
- Technical Documentation: Generate essential support documentation, including process flow diagrams, specification prints, BOMs, and usage guidelines, to facilitate the successful implementation and production of single-use systems.
- Project Management: Efficiently manage single-use system projects, ensuring that initiatives are completed within set timelines and cost targets, and that the end product meets the high standards expected by clients.
- Problem Solving and Analysis: Utilize strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions, ensuring the development of solutions that are both innovative and practical.
- Client and Team Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with both customers and internal teams, providing technical support, discussing project statuses, and ensuring a smooth and collaborative working environment.
- Non-smoker - as the smoke particles will damage products and contaminate cleanroom. This is non-negotiable.
- A minimum 2.1 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong project management abilities, with a knack for applying mathematical operations to various tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret a wide range of technical instructions.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Background in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
- Advanced mathematical abilities for various statistical analyses.
