Service Engineer / Automation Electrician | South Tipperary | Full Time | €45,000 – €55,000 (DOE)Our client is an expanding Automation company based in South Tipperary. They design, program, manufacture, service and install automation machines for companies throughout Ireland.They are currently looking to hire qualified Service Engineers and Automation Electricians to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role involving work on automation equipment both in the South Tipperary workshop and on-site at client locations.Are you the right person for the job?
  • Fully qualified electrician with experience in automation machinery
  • Skilled in working with electrical panels and PLC control systems
  • Proven experience wiring automation machinery
  • PLC programming knowledge is a bonus, but not essential
  • Willingness to assist with mechanical fitting as needed
  • Able to work independently using own initiative and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Full driving licence and own transportation required (mileage reimbursed)
  • Ability to use a lathe and mill is advantageous
What will your role look like?
  • Servicing and maintaining automation equipment onsite and in the workshop
  • Working with a small team of automation engineers on builds, installations, and commissioning of machines used primarily in the medical and food industries
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent client service
