- Lead the team in the planning, management and execution of audit engagements
- Supervise and develop junior team members
- Manage and review the work of the audit team
- Manage a varied client portfolio, ensuring all engagements are delivered to a high standard
- Research and resolve technical queries raised by clients
- Monitor work in progress and billing as part of effective working capital management
- Identify client needs and opportunities for additional services
- Support the development and growth of the firm's client portfolio
- Participate in client fee discussions and negotiations
- Maintain a consistently high quality of work in line with relevant professional standards
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Proven audit management experience, with 3+ years post-qualified experience
- Strong technical expertise
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams while working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards
- Strong professional judgement and decision-making ability
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- A collaborative team player with experience supporting and developing others
- Strong commercial awareness
- A proactive mindset with a desire to drive improvements and embrace new technologies where appropriate
