This role provides strong candidates with the opportunity to become a key part of a rapidly growing area of the business, and offers highly attractive career development and progression opportunities. The Deal Advisory department in Grant Thornton is a market leader and has extensive experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, valuations and raising capital and business planning.The role will comprise of the following activities:
  • Manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements across various sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify key business drivers, risks, and deal issues.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational due diligence.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and pitch presentations.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Analyse and assist with the preparation of valuation reports;
  • Assist with sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments;
The successful candidate will be and possess:
  • ACA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of Transaction Advisory Services (preferably financial due diligence) at an established Transaction Advisory practice is a must;
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities;
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or similar is a plus;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • Industry experience with an interest in returning to a professional services environment.
