Excel Recruitment is proud to represent our client, a leading transport provider in Cork, in the recruitment of professional Bus Drivers.This role offers a competitive hourly rate of €20.56, full training, and the opportunity to join a supportive team delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused services.With a rotatory shift pattern providing variety and stability, this is an excellent opportunity for qualified drivers seeking a rewarding career in transport.Job Title: Bus Driver – CorkLocation: Cork, IrelandEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-time (rotatory shift pattern)Rate of Pay: €20.56 per hourCore ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a Class D public service vehicle along scheduled routes.Adapt to a rotating shift schedule (e.g., early, late, split, night/weekend shifts).Deliver excellent customer service: assist passengers and handle queries professionally.Maintain compliance with health, safety, transport regulations, and required documentation (tachograph, CPC, logbooks).Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues.Adhere to company policies and represent the organisation positively.Shift PatternRotatory shift schedule-likely on a multi-week (e.g., 5-week) rota, covering early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and split shifts

Shift system in operation Early /Middle / Late:

Early shift ranges from 04.35 to 09.59
Middle shift ranges from 10.00 to 13.59
Late shift ranges from 14:00 onwards.

Qualifications & RequirementsFull, clean Irish Class D driving licence.Digital Tachograph card.Valid Driver CPC for public service vehicles.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.Flexibility to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights, and public holidays.Training & OnboardingComprehensive 3 week training program including:Route familiarisationCustomer care and safety protocolsTachograph and CPC training (possibly offered in-house)#EXLCORYour Name RequiredYour Email RequiredPhoneYour CV Required.
