As our greatest asset, they make Musgrave a great place to work and in return we aim to be the very best place to work, grow and thrive.Working closely with the Head of Trading Operations, this role is responsible for the development and shaping of the Consumer Offer, as well as managing the over all promotions process.This is a senior commercial role within the Trading function, working closely with the Trading teams, as well as cross functionally with Supply Chain; Trading Finance; Data Science; Sales and Marketing teams, to deliver winning market position for both Brands, that drives sales and increases consumer loyalty.Engage with our retail partners and work collaboratively to build relationships & improve ways of working with them.Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

Lead and shape the overall Consumer Offer, contributing to the business Value Strategy, ensuring its constant relevance to consumer sentiment and the macro environment.
Play an integral part of the Cross functional teams that work together to deliver the Commercial plans and Brand Value strategies.
Manage budgets allocated for consumer offers/promotions, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.
Monitor the performance of consumer offers through data analysis and make data-driven decisions to optimize offer effectiveness.
Represent Trading on key Forums and at retailer engagement sessions – Consumer Forum, Value Steering, Retailer Councils.
Key contributor to new projects such as the Fuelling the Future, Loyalty Solutions & Labour Optimisation
As the Promotions Process Owner, drive process implementation across the business by coordinating and reviewing activity across all functions.
Providing appropriate updates on upcoming legislation and changes across the retail landscape

The ideal candidate will have/be:The successful candidate will possess the following:

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior role in a retail / FMCG environment with a track record of developing and delivering a commercial strategy.
The ideal candidate will be highly numeric & analytical – a qualification on this area would be an advantage.
Proven commercial acumen and experience of translating consumer insight into innovative and differentiating market leading shopper propositions.
A strong systems orientation including advanced Excel skills.
Strong interpersonal, people leadership & stakeholder management skills
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, with a proven ability to influence at a senior level in the organization.

Musgrave operate a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the office and working remotely.
