- Order Management: Ensure timely and accurate execution of all manual orders and monitor automated order flows in line with Best Execution requirements.
- FX Execution: Execute foreign exchange trades efficiently and accurately.
- Broker Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships with external brokers to identify and leverage new trading opportunities.
- Governance & Compliance: Adhere to all procedures and processes in accordance with Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management standards.
- Trading Support: Act as the primary contact for trading-related queries including market news, settlement, FX, system operations, error resolution, and corporate actions.
- Operational Continuity: Ensure smooth handover to the evening dealer to maintain seamless trading operations.
- System Testing: Collaborate with the IS testing team on system upgrades, including reviewing and executing test scripts.
- Holiday Cover: Provide cover during holidays, including Bank Holidays, to ensure order books are monitored effectively.
- Portfolio Rebalancing: Support the coordination and execution of investment selection portfolio rebalancing trades, managing associated risks such as FX exposure and settlement.
- Structured Products: Oversee structured product transactions from inception to execution, liaising with third-party trading teams and internal stakeholders.
- Performance Reporting: Contribute to relevant management information (MI) to monitor and measure trading performance.
- Internal Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with colleagues in Wealth Management and Davy capital markets to ensure alignment on trading strategies and execution priorities.
- Market Insights: Contribute to twice-weekly market news summary session with the Wealth Operations department.
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role
- In depth knowledge of their discipline and typically resolves problems using existing solution
- Works independently and requires minimal guidance
- A Business/Finance Degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Figaro and Infront a distinct advantage
- QFA qualification essential
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
