Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join our Development and Digital Services portfolio. As a Cloud Engineer, you will have a passion for Automation and have hands on Cloud Experience. You must have a can-do attitude and keen interest in Automation. You will be a part of a great team having a diversified knowledge and master in their own field.As with any position within Sogeti Ireland, you should be flexible in relation to location. Work on container migrations in various hybrid cloud scenarios, moving On Prem container-based workloads to a cloud-based container platform
Interact with customer - technical staff, IT architects, application owners
Conduct strategy, application, technology design and planning workshops
Choose the right technology tools for performing the builds and migration with a focus towards the cloud provider recommendations
Hand-on Experience in working with Deploying the Docker Images

Skills & RequirementsTechnical Experience Required:

Commercial experience across designing, deploying and managing cloud environments in Azure.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry with Infrastructure Engineering background, with strong Technology and Automation knowledge not limited to the Office 365 platform (SharePoint Online, Teams), Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure Functions etc.
Experience of containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
Strong Knowledge in automation scripting languages (ARM Template/Terraform/CloudFormation)
Strong experience identifying and resolving issues at Azure level, Azure Monitor, APIM, Azure APIM (API Management) and Postman. Experience troubleshooting on the Microsoft Cloud Platform
Experience of working with Azure AD, Office 365, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud platforms.
Knowledge of common database and caching technologies, such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Some knowledge of common programming languages used in modern web application development, such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, or PHP.
Experience in deploying and configuring Virtual Networks, NAT Gateway and Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Orchestrating Routing Paths in Azure, renewing, managing security trust certificates,
Experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure (VM, Data, DB, App)
Relevant industry certification.
