We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we're one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland. Our goal is to extend children’s daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict ‘No Screen Time’ policy. With 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 60 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Special Needs Assistant in Ballinteer to join our busy Afterschool & Holiday service.The Role:
  • Accompany the child during afterschool
  • Help them develop their social skills
  • Encourage them to use a positive communication style
  • Provide emotional support by modelling the healthy expression of their needs
  • Assist them with their homework
  • Be committed to the child's health and safety
Your profile:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
  • Garda vetting and reference checks required to be conducted for child safety.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Patient and calm demeanour and great communication skills
  • A genuine love for children and care for their well-being
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
