Work Permit Required Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role Contract Type 24 months Based on 39 Hour Week Main Duties Safely operate articulated trucks, including tractor-trailer combinations, over long and short distances. Adhere to all road traffic regulations, speed limits, and safety standards. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries or collections. Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage or accidents. Inspect cargo to ensure it matches delivery documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including brakes, lights, tyres, and trailer connections. Report defects and arrange for necessary maintenance or repairs Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other paperwork.
