This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong admin skills and an interest in HR processes to play a vital role in recruitment, onboarding, and employee support. The role is office-based, located just outside the city centre, and requires an immediate start.Key Responsibilities
  • CV Screening & Shortlisting: Assist with the initial review of incoming CVs and applications based on defined criteria.
  • Interview Scheduling: Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers, including calendar invites and confirmations.
  • Reference Checks: Support the team by managing the reference check process, following up with referees, and updating records.
  • Onboarding Support: Help prepare onboarding packs, ensure new starter documentation is completed, and support induction scheduling.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and paper-based.
  • Employee Queries: Act as a first point of contact for basic HR queries, escalating where necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the recruitment and HR team, including email correspondence, filing, data entry, and report preparation.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally within HR or recruitment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
