An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading global medical device multinational on an 18-month contract. This role focuses on supporting and advancing manufacturing engineering activities, driving innovation, and optimising processes to deliver high-quality products and improved operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include the following and other duties as assigned:
  • Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and production yields
  • Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process and technology specifications
  • Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure compatibility with manufacturing processes
  • Review product development requirements to determine feasibility, cost, and timelines
  • Lead the development, innovation, and optimisation of manufacturing processes and concepts for transfer to operations
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including material selection, process development, and equipment/tooling specification and installation
  • Develop and apply statistical process control methodologies and measurement systems
  • Perform data analysis and recommend process improvements based on findings
  • Ensure all processes comply with relevant regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent international qualification)
  • Typically 4+ years' medical device experience, or 2+ years with an advanced degree
  • Strong technical expertise combining practical and theoretical knowledge
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration is advantageous
