HireForce are working with a International energy company who are looking to hire a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their Dublin office. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions and projects with senior colleagues.
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded accountant who is capable of adding real value to the team. Responsibilities include:Financial Analysis and Opportunity Evaluation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct financial analysis, market research, and evaluation of potential growth opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Assist in financial modelling, valuation, commercial analysis and due diligence activities for potential transactions and strategic partnerships.
Reporting and Decision Support
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models, business cases, and reports to support decision-making processes and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support in the development and maintenance of internal reporting mechanisms to track financial metrics and performance against strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
  • Engage in stakeholder management by effectively communicating financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and potential partners.
  • Working closely with other Group executives and external advisers to drive execution of opportunities.
  • Assist the division in driving strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Participate and present in a variety of senior management meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • ACA, CFA or ACCA certification desirable.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance / transaction services, investment banking, or a similar role with exposure to M&A or corporate development.
  • Fluency in one other language (preferably French, German, or Spanish) is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex financial information into clear and impactful presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Practical and energetic with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel, as needed.
