Beverage Operations Manager (Full Time)Gleneagle is now recruiting for a Beverage Operations Manager to join our leadership team. Overseeing Munster's largest beverage operation, this pivotal role manages all Bars and Beverage Services across both the hotel and the Gleneagle Arena.With seven bars and a team of 30+ employees, we deliver a diverse program of high-volume events including leisure and entertainment (up to 4,500 attendees), Ireland's BikeFest, conferences (up to 1,000 delegates), and nightly resident entertainment.This is a senior leadership role combining Bars Management and Event Beverage Operations. It requires a dynamic, commercially minded professional with experience in high-volume service, a proven track record in people management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-event environment.About the roleKey Responsibilities:Customer ExperienceFoster a guest-centric culture across the teamMonitor and enhance the guest experience through feedback systemsDrive continuous improvement and service excellenceTeam LeadershipLead, develop, and motivate a teamDeliver ongoing training and development, including supervisory growthConduct regular team meetings, coaching, and performance reviewsOperations ManagementEnsure smooth daily operations across all bars and venuesMaintain full compliance with hygiene, safety & licensingRevenue & Financial PerformanceDevelop and execute a revenue strategy aligned to targetsAchieve beverage gross profit targets and control labour & operational costsDrive revenue through menu development, upselling, and new product linesCollaborationWork closely with the wider hotel management teamAttend management meetings and support cross-departmental goalsContribute to achieving the overall guest satisfaction and financial performanceRequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in a management role within a high-volume hotel or event venueStrong background in both beverage and food service operationsProven commercial acumen with budgeting and financial reporting skillsStrong leadership and people development experienceExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsAbout the companyThe Gleneagle Hotel Group is a premier hospitality and entertainment destination headquartered in Killarney, Co.
