- Design and develop automated control systems, including PLC and SCADA configurations.
- Implement and maintain automation solutions that meet project specifications and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate automation solutions into larger engineering projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and user manuals.
- Provide training and support to personnel on the use of automated systems and processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in automation and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding automation strategies and challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role focused on automated systems.
- Strong knowledge of automation software, PLC programming, and control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills specific to automation challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies in the automation field.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices in automation engineering.
