An established accountancy organisation is seeking a newly qualified accountant to join its busy accounts team in Co. Westmeath. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients, while also contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Audit Exempt Companies
- Managing the preparation and timely submission of Personal Tax (Income Tax) and Corporation Tax returns
- Overseeing the preparation and filing of VAT returns, VAT RTDs, PAYE, Payroll, and RCT returns
- Providing proactive tax planning and advisory support to clients, ensuring compliance with Irish tax legislation
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development where appropriate
- Ensuring timely and accurate filing of Companies Office returns (company secretarial experience is an advantage)
- Supporting audit queries and liaising with Revenue as needed
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an Irish practice environment
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and Irish taxation
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Revenue Online Service (ROS)
- Experience managing client relationships and handling a broad client portfolio
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently
- Experience with CRO returns and company secretarial duties would be an advantage
