About Your New Job
  • Contract Administration: Manage and oversee building contracts.
  • Technical Due Diligence: Conduct thorough assessments of properties.
  • Dilapidations: Handle issues related to property condition and repairs.
  • Building Pathology: Diagnose and address building defects.
  • General Building Surveying: Perform a variety of commercial building surveying tasks.
What Skills You Need
  • Degree in Building Surveying & MSCSI/MRICS: Essential qualifications.
  • Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive experience on commercial projects.
  • Excellent Report Writing Skills: Ability to produce accurate and detailed reports.
  • Knowledge of Building Contracts: Strong understanding of commercial building contracts.
  • Business Development: Ability to meet fee targets and generate new business.
  • Technologically Savvy: Embrace and utilize modern technology.
  • Technical Knowledge: Up-to-date expertise in building practices.
Skills and Behaviour
  • Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Effective Communicator: Confident in both verbal and written communication.
  • Client-Focused: Strong business acumen and client relationship skills.
  • Understanding Client Needs: Thorough understanding of client requirements.
  • Driving Licence: Full driving licence and access to a car.
