
Legal Document Specialist

- Provide firmwide support on MS 365 applications and the firm’s additional document repair & restyle software (DocXtools)
- Provide firmwide support in pdfDocs, particularly in the creation of eBibles
- Provide second line support to the IT Helpdesk on MS Office applications, Litera Compare and pdfDocs
- Prepare firm documents to the highest standard in accordance with ALG branding and house styles
- Prepare client documents and pdf forms incorporating the client’s styles and brand requirements
- Create functional Word documents from PDF files (according to firm or client standards) and create PDF fillable forms Word documents
- Update, review and check all precedent documents before they are uploaded to the precedent library
- Prepare first drafts of large transactional documents and review and maintain these documents over their lifecycle
- Prepare and share on the firm’s SharePoint site specific tips and workarounds on various aspects of document creation
- Prepare and deliver workshops on document processes, such as pdf conversions, cross referencing, working with templates
- Work with the DevOps team in identifying specific document issues and liaising with the vendors for solutions
- Test new software and provide feedback to the DevOps team
- A first-rate knowledge of MS365 applications, pdfDocs, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiarity with SharePoint
- Experience of working with legal documents within a professional services environment
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent overall computer literacy
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive information confidentially
