- Ensure that SHE Management System and strategy are effectively implemented in accordance with the EMEA SEMI Customer Centre strategy.
- Identify and update SHE requirements in line with changes to local legislation and standards to ensure SHE compliance.
- Participate or oversee internal and external SHE management system audits to ensure that the SHE management system operates effectively.
- Support and/or carry out product risk assessment/environment registration, make sure the general risk assessment and environment registration will be updated as required.
- Provide SHE induction/training to new and frontline employees regularly.
- Prepare and maintain necessary regulatory documentation and reports.
- Monitor EMEA SEMI Customer Centre Industiral Hygiene factors (Heavy metal/Noise/Chemical) and environment factors regularly to meet the related SHE standards.
- Undertake investigations to incidents and complete reports with all relevant documentation and ensure this is logged in the reporting system.
- Support Service Managers with their safety responsibilities (correct PPE and procedures).
- Interface with the customer on equipment i.e ergo assessments and lifting equipment.
- Qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a qualification in Safety engineering, environmental engineering with a mechanical technical background.
- Qualification in an engineering discipline desirable.
- The job holder must be an accomplished safety specialist with a track record of improved safety performance.
- Strong communication skills, organisational awareness and impact and influencing skills area prerequisite.
- Self Starter and effective time manager.
- Assertive, diplomatic with a good appreciation of business and commercial issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP desirable.
- Proficient in English - written and spoken.
