
Software Engineering Manager - Funds Management

- Drive delivery of the next generation of Toast's payouts platform to allow us to scale our business to the next level.
- Collaborate closely with product management and vendors to define actionable, valuable work for the team
- Communicate with senior leaders to make sure OKRs and KPIs are healthy
- Build customer trust by ensuring quality at all stages - from requirements to testing to rollout to monitoring in production.
- Coach individuals in professional and technical development. Mentor both new and experienced Tech Leads.
- Grow teams to meet business needs via recruiting
- Champion the use of AI tools and practices to accelerate development, improve team velocity, and pioneer new ways of building - setting the bar for what it means to be an AI-first engineering organization.
- Experience writing, delivering, and operating software in a SaaS environment
- 3-5+ years mentoring and growing successful engineering teams
- Proven expertise to create clear working solutions in coordination with partners in product, operations, compliance and technical architecture for complex business problems
- Bias towards action, with the ability to balance between getting things done and making things perfect
- Want to continuously grow knowledge and push for industry defining designs
- Strong sense of empathy for customers and teammates
- Desire to build a diverse team that wins together and prioritizes customer success
