Operations/Project Coordinator IIIJob Description:The IT Operations Senior Coordinator will play a key role within the coordination team, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment between internal cross-functional groups, vendors, facility providers, and smart/remote hands teams. This position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with leadership within the team, serving as a go-to resource for escalations, guidance, and process improvements. The role is responsible for facilitating critical operational activities—such as RMAs, site access, ticket management, and inventory tracking—while fostering effective communication across all stakeholders to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.Roles and Responsibilities:Act as a senior member of the coordination team, leveraging expertise to guide operational activities and maintain high service standards.Serve as a key escalation point for complex or high-priority operational issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.Provide mentorship and share best practices with coordinators to strengthen skills, consistency, and collaboration across the team.Oversee and facilitate shift handovers, workload distribution, and smooth coordination between regional teams.Drive operational planning, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives that enhance overall team performance.Coordinate with facility providers, smart hands teams, and hardware vendors to ensure smooth execution of operational tasks.Manage and track RMA processes, ensuring timely and accurate shipments to and from facilities.Monitor and work tickets within the system, ensuring SLAs are met through effective prioritization and follow-up.Collaborate closely with regional teams for seamless shift handovers and continuity in 24/7 “follow the sun” operations.Identify operational trends and recurring issues, escalating where necessary and contributing to resolution strategies.Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring issues in current workflows, and propose practical solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and regional counterparts to streamline operations and improve service delivery.Maintain and enhance process documentation, ensuring procedures are up to date and easy to follow.Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall team performance.Required Qualifications4–6 years of experience in IT operations, logistics, or project coordination, including experience in a senior or lead-support capacity.Proven experience with Colo/DC/POP site access, smart hands requests, RMAs, inventory management, and audits.Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google SuiteGood communication skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with sound judgment.Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and high-quality customer service.Preferred (but not required) experience and qualifications:Project Management qualificationsBachelor Degree or equivalent
