Patient Care & Support: • Assist patients with personal hygiene needs (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming). • Support patients with mobility - including turning, transferring, walking, or using mobility aids. • Assist with feeding and hydration, observing any dietary requirements. • Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff. • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Clinical Support: • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe healthcare environment. • Help with the preparation of materials and equipment for patient care. • Perform basic clinical tasks under supervision, such as taking temperature, pulse, respiration, and recording observations. • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Documentation & Communication: • Accurately document care provided in line with HSE protocols. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and data protection policies. Health & Safety: • Follow infection prevention and control protocols. • Use moving and handling techniques safely and in line with training. • Comply with health and safety policies and report any risks or hazards.
