Job Description: Stafford Arms Limited T/A The Merry Cobbler is looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our team, assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards. Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the Chef de Partie's instructions. Assist in the creation and development of new dishes and recipes. Ensure the quality of ingredients and adherence to hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP). Collaborate with the kitchen team and assist in training junior chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation. Assist in stock control and replenishing ingredients. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills. Requirements: Previous experience in the kitchen (desirable). Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain high hygiene standards.
