Employer: Sputh Dublin Voluntary Groups Responsible to: General Manager / Cook Hours of Work: 19.5 Hours per week (Monday - Friday mornings) Function of Position: The role of the Meals On Wheels Driver is to: Deliver MOW to people in the local area. Duties Include: • Drive van to deliver meals on wheels as per delivery sheets within specified time frames. • Ensure meals are stored and delivered inline with all Health & Safety guidelines. • Collect payment from people and issue receipts. • Report any concerns about peoples' health or wellbeing to the General Manager/Cook. • Any other duties as required. Experience & Qualifications: • A full clean driving license and at least one year's driving experience • Reasonably fit - we deliver to some blocks of flats with no lifts. • Good people skills and empathetic approach. Key Relationships: You will have a number of key relationships each defined hereunder • Effective relationships with the Little Flower team, the team is small and good working relationships are essential to ensure the success of the operation. • Effective relationships with the people we serve are important.
