This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding and sustainably growing business, get involved in our exciting portfolio of challenging and innovative upcoming and existing projects. The successful candidate will support a Senior Project Planner, taking an active role in growing the department and company. This role is a permanent/staff position, working out of our Mahon office in Cork. Our working hours are Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm, Fri 8am - 12 noon (Flexible)RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establishing project objectives in line with the project manager and ensure goals & timelines are achieved
  • Responsible for development and management of project schedules
  • Identification of Key project milestones, monitoring & reporting on same
  • Critical Path development & analysis
  • Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports
  • Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action
  • Weekly and monthly progress reporting
REQUIREMENTS
  • Third level degree qualified, preferably from a Engineering/Data Analytics background
  • Strong MS Excel skills and proficient use of other Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience working with Primavera P6 Planning software and MS Project would be advantageous but not necessary
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good communication & people skills
  • Self-starter and decision maker
  • Time management essential to satisfy demands of busy schedule and reporting calendar
