- Develop and implement long-term strategic category plans for IT.
- Lead and mentor a team in a high-performance culture.
- Drive best practice and continuous improvement across sourcing and procurement activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, delivering value through innovative sourcing strategies.
- Create and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories including Software and Professional Services.
- Apply strategic sourcing methodologies such as cost analysis, vendor scorecards, market research, bench marking, and total cost of ownership assessments.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes, and systems for all IT spend.
- Oversee vendor contract renewals and approvals in line with governance requirements.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and development of team members.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance performance.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and technology leadership teams.
- Influence decision-making through effective communication and strategic insights.
- Degree/Dip in Business, Procurement, ICT/Technology, or similar.
- Minimum 9 years' experience in IT Category Management, with 4 or more years in a team leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong communication skills alongside and stakeholder management
