Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer - Infrastructure Projects in North DublinJoin a site supervision team as a Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer based in the North Dublin Region. In this role, you will supervise multiple projects across North Dublin, focusing on the growth and development of infrastructure, including new pipeline installations. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to an expanding team, reporting directly to a Senior Resident Engineer.Desirable Skills/Attributes:
  • Level 8 engineering qualification.
  • Experience in administrating Contracts - Public Works & FIDIC.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Managing Safely in Construction Training.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
  • Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal in English.
Primary Duties:
  • Perform the duties of a Senior Resident Engineer for the project.
  • Report directly to the Client and Regional Project Resident Engineer.
  • Manage the site supervision team on the ground.
  • Ensure Materials and Workmanship align with the Works Requirements.
  • Maintain site documentation in line with Client requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with the Contractor's Health and Safety Plan.
  • Maintain a detailed diary/record of works.
  • Liaise with other Supervision Staff.
  • Collaborate with the Employer's Representative on the management of payment applications, checking work measures, claim determinations, and final account agreement with the Contractor.
  • Liaison with local landowners, the public, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure works are carried out to Employer Requirements and Statutory Requirements.
  • Conduct on-site design review, technical supervision, and commissioning.
