We currently employ over 500 people across our Head Office and retail stores with 40 branches nationwide. Our central warehouse, buying offices, dispatch center and e-commerce operations are all conducted from our home on the Lodge Road, Westport, Co. Mayo. With buying offices also located in Ennis, and Dublin. Carraig Donn is continuing to grow year on year, with an exciting 10-year expansion plan.This is a fixed term, 24 hour contract. The role requires flexibility to work across both our Castlebar and Westport warehouse sites.Main duties of this role will include:

Accurate picking of product and preparing for efficient dispatch, ensuring correct packing lists and labels are attached.
Be a great team player but also have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for the completion of tasks
Maintaining stock file accuracy through picking, packing and goods in, as per company guidelines.
Taking in and processing deliveries and storing them efficiently and categorically in accordance with goods in
Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with H&S and all documentation is completed
General cleanliness of all areas, keep warehouse organised, removing hazards and preventing accidents
Work closely with other warehouse operatives and supervisors to achieve daily targets.
Support the team and develop own knowledge within warehouse tasks as required

What are we looking for:

Experience working in a warehouse is preferable, however full training will be provided for this role..
Attention to Detail: Ability to process orders accurately
Physical Stamina: Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying packages
Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to report issues and work effectively with team members.
Basic IT Skills: Good PC skills are desirable
Forklift experience would be an advantage
