Job Description:We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will design and optimise our website, applications and other digital assets. They work closely with marketers and business heads to understand the brand, products and customers and create websites aligning with the business identity, vision and needs.Objectives of this role
  • UI/UX designs and visual concepts that catch the eye and inspire users.
  • Work with marketing to create and execute design plans and creative, helping the company achieve its product vision and meet its marketing goals.
  • Lead the design process by creating style guides for use by the commercial teams.
  • Assist the marketing team in creating visual assets like landing pages, websites, advertisements, brochures, flyers and catalogues.
Key Responsibilities: * Design, test and optimise intuitive and visually appealing website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts.
  • Develop responsive designs that function seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Implement best practices in web design, including usability, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including developers, content creators, and marketers, to achieve project goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in web / graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of web design principles, including layout, typography, colour theory, and user experience.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Experience in UX
  • Knowledge of responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous web design projects and demonstrating creativity and technical skills.
  • 3+ years of experience as a junior web designer or
  • graphic designer.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Web designer or graphic designer.
  • Proven experience as a web designer or similar role.
