Cpl Healthcare is excited to announce a number of great opportunities to work with our client in the disability sector.We are seeking Community Support Workers - New Directions and Outreach for Day Services based in Galway City.Hours would be predominantly based Monday to Friday with some shifts on Saturdays if required.As part of your role, you will:

Empower Service Users to live independent lives in their home and the community.
Support the development and delivery of the person-centred plan
Develop community partnerships to foster active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes.
Transport service users to access the community.
Be responsible for Key Worker duties i.e. weekly administration, advocacy, liaising with families and develop and implement person-centred plans.

The perfect candidate will:

Hold a relevant QQI relevant qualification - minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or relevant
Experience working with service users in the disability sector
Be over the age of 18
Have a full clean manual driving license with access to own vehicle for work purposes.
Have an excellent command of spoken and written English
Have previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in relevant sector
