5* Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort is currently recruiting a reservations agent to join our dynamic and successful team.Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service & responds quickly and proactively to guest's concerns
To ensure that all reservations queries are dealt with in a professional manner and are answered within the required time frame
To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product and goals, in addition to being aware of the total Resort facilities
To ensure that we maximise yield through occupancy and rate
To liaise with reception to resolve any queries from guest billing
To process no shows on a daily basis ensuring that this revenue is recorded and captured
To compile and circulate the daily pickup report
To liaise with the Sales and Events Department to ensure that Resort revenue is always maximised
To ensure that all reservations backup is filed and kept in a neat, organised manner and is copied to all relevant department
To ensure all departments are aware of promotions and special activities going on in the Resort
Maximising revenue in transient room sales, golf tee times and bookings and in the food & beverage departments & spa/ leisure offerings, by handling all individual reservation enquiries in an enthusiastic and efficient manner.
Provide administrative support of Revenue Functions ensuring excellent yield management and E-Commerce visibility.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a similar role in a 4-5* property is preferable but not essential.
Good organisation and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with general office PC applications
Ability to multitask
Working knowledge of Hotsoft or similar PMS system would be beneficial
Flexibility in your working hours. Weekend work (on rotating basis) will form an essential part of this role.
