We operate under the Quinn Downes Group which was established in 1999.QDSM are recruiting for a First Year Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice. Throughout the apprenticeship the successful candidate will learn all aspects in the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning through on the job training with QDSM and off the job training college with Solas. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has an interest in the trade and is willing to learn.Below is an outline of the main elements of the role.Main Duties and Responsibilities

Assist and follow instruction from senior tradespeople
Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Handling tools
Maintain and clean workspaces
Learning all aspects of the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

Required Criteria

Safe Pass
Manual Handling
Keen interest and ability to learn on the job
Excellent time and attendance

Desired Criteria

Driving License
Previous experience on construction sites
