-Your Role and Responsibilities
Trusteer group, part of IBM Security, is focused on identity fraud prevention. We are a globally spread, with team members in Israel, USA, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Ireland. Our products are deployed at major global customers, helping them prevent account take over fraud, detecting and stopping malware, and keeping transactions safe – across web and mobile applications. We are a SaaS group: Trusteer systems are handling billions of transactions per month and are managing massive amounts of data under extreme load, providing real time API for risk assessment.We are looking for a backend developer for the Pinpoint team. You will be involved in the designing and developing of new features in Pinpoint product which is the key product of Trusteer as part of the company’s security solution. The product helps to protect large banks and finance companies against frauds attacks. The work involves handling big data in real time while using top notch technologies in AWS cloud. Among the product technology we use
Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, EC2, SQS, Lambda , Kinesis , S3, SageMaker and more.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in Python / Node JS/ PHP / Ruby / Lua or similar.
- Linux experience
- Experience in developing server-side, DB-backed applications
- Strong knowledge of browser technologies - JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Past working experience in a security related team or company - an advantage
- Experience in AWS – an advantage
- Experience in developing AJAX enabled applications - an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills are required along with the ability to work
- Good writing and communication skills, orderly, responsible
- BSc in Computer Science or similar
