
Field Engineer - Water Sector

- Monitor and process site inspection requests for non-standard New Connection applications.
- Assess received plans for further technical investigations and future site inspections.
- Coordinate site visits with the team and conduct assessments adhering to Health and Safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with New Connection Standards and Policies during fieldwork.
- Document inspection results and approve/close Work Orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with Senior/Design Engineers on identified technical requirements for Work Orders.
- Support network development initiatives in collaboration with Local Authorities and 3rd party partners.
- Perform adoption inspections and testing as needed.
- Record new/updated asset data in systems and input relevant information into GIS systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
- Previous experience in connections management within a utility or local authority; water/wastewater experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of planning applications and connections regulations is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building skills to achieve team goals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and uphold high standards in a team-focused environment.
