Morgan McKinley is partnering with a Commercial Semi State body on a Risk Analyst position based in Dublin 8 (hybrid). This is a super opportunity to work with one of Ireland's leading providers in which you will play a critical role in the business, operating in a highly compliant & fast-paced environment.We are specifically seeking candidates with transport or heavy industry experience.This is a 12 month contract.Salary scale: €93,898 (Year 1) - €97,376 (Year 3) per annumKey Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualification and 5 years + experience in a Risk Focused role
  • Technical knowledge and experience in transport or heavy industry
  • Experience with traction and rolling stock maintenance/overhaul
  • Understanding of technologies and environments associated with transportation
  • Good understanding of commercial and legal aspects of system risk
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and systems such as CSM Risk
  • Experience using risk assessment methods such as BowTie, Zonal Hazard Analysis, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, etc.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the business as a technical risk expert to successfully manage fleet and occupational risk
  • Assess and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with engineering projects
  • Utilize statistical analysis and modelling techniques to quantify and prioritize Risks
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend actions to minimize project Vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data related to project risks
  • Generate comprehensive risk reports and communicate findings to Stakeholders
  • Continuously monitor and update risk assessments as project conditions evolve
  • Assist in the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen events
  • Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights on risk exposure
  • Contribute to the overall risk management framework and culture within the engineering department
