With rapid growth and a passionate team, they are committed to innovation, service excellence, and sustainability.💼 Role OverviewAs Financial Controller , you will be responsible for the full financial management of the business, reporting directly to senior leadership. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decisions, ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and supporting continued growth.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesLead all financial operations including month-end, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reportingProduce and present timely and accurate management accountsManage financial audits and ensure full compliance with statutory and tax requirementsOversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and credit controlImplement and maintain robust financial controls and proceduresDevelop performance dashboards and KPIs for key departmentsLiaise with external advisors, banks, and auditors as requiredProvide strategic financial input to support business planning and expansionSupport the roll-out of financial systems or ERP improvementsManage and mentor a small finance team (if applicable)✅ Candidate RequirementsProfessional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent preferred)5+ years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally with experience as a Financial ControllerExperience in construction, energy, renewables, or related sectors would be a plus but is not requiredStrong understanding of Irish tax and financial regulationsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or ERP systems)High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teamsProactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processesBased within commuting distance of Midleton, Cork (hybrid role after 3-month office onboarding period)🎁 What’s on OfferSalary negotiable, based on your skills and experienceOpportunity to join a well-respected and purpose-driven company in the sustainability sectorCareer progression opportunities in a fast-growing industrySupportive, collaborative work environmentHybrid working after initial onboardingPension scheme and additional benefits (depending on experience)📩 Ready to take ownership of the finance function in a company helping to shape Ireland’s energy future?
